ps3 no display

bought a used ps3 frm this guy in lyn

brought it back and was disappointed when i could hear sound but no display.

did a google search

and found this, it works!

Your video board needs to be re-set it is locked into what ever setting it was in.
follow the instructions I gave and it should work for you.
1. Turn Off in back (wait few seconds for it to re-set)
2. Turn on in back
3. Turn on in front and hold your finger on it 'till it turns off again -
(you get the beep on then the three beeps for reset and it will eventually beep again and turn off)
4. Turn off in back (wait few seconds for it to re-set)
5. Turn on in back
6. Turn on in front hold finger for three beeps and damn it works!
